Introducing the Race Ambassadors of the Brisbane Kermesse powered by Tineli
/Kangaroo Point Cycling Club is pleased to introduce our first four Race Ambassadors for the Brisbane Kermesse powered by Tineli.
Jesse Kerrison
Budget Forklifts Professional Cycling
Jesse rides for the UCI continental team, Budget Forklifts Professional Cycling. Over the last two years he has won eight NRS stages, seven sprinters jerseys, a stage of the UCI 2.1 Tour of Tahui Lake and the Tour of the Murray River.
Rach Edwards
KoiledTineli Racing
Rach is a standout in the local racing scene, and not just because of her love of all things high vis. Having earned some stripes on the dirt she's made the transition to road. She loves hard racing and is usually found at the front riding everyone, including herself, to hurtsville. She's won some races, lost some races but mostly enjoys captaining the KoiledTineli Shebeast women's crew.
Our Race Ambassadors include National Champions, National Road Series riders, sponsored athletes and local homegrown heroes who are all here to give you the inside line on the Brisbane Kermesse powered by Tineli.
Kirsty Broun
Kirsty Broun Racing
Kirsty is a former two-time Australian Criterium Champion and Professional Cyclist with the Australian Road Racing Team who now owns and runs Kirsty Broun Cycling and the Kirsty Broun Racing Team.
In collaboration with the Kangaroo Point Cycling Club, Kirsty will soon announce an exciting new Program for first time racers looking to race the Brisbane Kermesse powered by Tineli.
Ric Baker
Mipela Geosolutions / Altitude Cycling
Ric has been on the bike for 3 years now after being pressured into lycra by a close friend. Since then he helped establish Altitude Cycling and decided to start racing low grade about 2 years ago. In the last 12 months Ric has decided to step it up a bit by establishing a team and racing with them in the Queensland Road Teams Series. The main reason he rides is for fun and to get more people outside and onto bikes.
Over the next few months our Race Ambassadors will be sharing their thoughts on the course, providing you with tips for staying ahead of the game and sharing their advice on using the challenging and technical aspects of the course to your advantage.
