Claire Rabaa - Kangaroo Point Cycling Club.

"I wasn't sure if I could race! Would I be fast enough? Did I have the right bike? After talking to Kirsty and getting a few of my girlfriends to sign up we did a Learn to Race Program with Kangaroo Point Cycling Club in 2013. It was so much fun learning skills, trying racing, and meeting a whole lot of new friends! Since then I have continued riding with the Club and even won a race! I would recommend it to everyone!"

Michael Keetman - Kangaroo Point Cycling Club

"I did the Criterium Racing Program with Kangaroo Point Cycling Club this year. We did plenty of racing theory before getting on the bike and then spent lots of time riding with the Club's Coaches and Mentors trying out each of the skills and tactics that we had learnt riding around Nundah. I wasn't an experienced racer, but I was keen to learn. Having access to professional riders and mentors (including a few National Champions) was really inspiring. Since the course I've raced a few open events, bought a new bike and actually won some money! It's been fun, though I will admit a little scary, but the Club has been supportive and encouraging the whole time and I would never have got here without them".
